Beck's Music Inspired Art - The 100 Cover Project

I chose to recreate the magical Tom Waits’ Rain Dogs album cover because for me it triggers a striking imaginary world for my mind to wonder through. Music motivates and inspires me, its a key part of my creative process. My album cover is constructed of the song titles and lyrics used throughout Rain Dogs. I find the music on Rain Dogs is strange, striking and atmospheric, while not being over produced. It is quite pared down. This is something I wanted to try and express within my album cover, which is why I have created a minimal design, using a very bleak colour palette.

Love it dude and great choice of album to do a cover for! the legend that is mr Waits the colours and the bird also remind me of a leonard cohen album can't think of it's title now though!
