Bamboo Friendly Chair

My product is made completely out of bamboo, even the textile part is made of bamboo fiber because it has luxurious softness, is very smooth , flowing and gentle.
The chair is very comfortable and the combination of innovative design and the striking beauty of bamboo make it highly desirable. It is versatile and easy to customize as the bamboo tubes can be unscrewed.
Also bamboo furniture is light, durable, affordable and environmental friendly.
Benefits of my design:
- made of environmentally safe and renewable material
- the product can be entirely disassembled and recycled at the end of its life
- light-weight nature of the product means it is easily transported with reduced energy costs
- the product isn’t necessarily obviously eco and it should simply become part of the way that things are
- deals with the issue of waste minimization, the real issue being the efficient utilisation of our resources
- the environmental responsibility continues behind the scenes
- ‘green' or ‘eco' or ‘environmentally-friendly' is not an add on, but is a fundamental part of the design process
- its sustainability credentials are well determined, because the materials and processes are fully considered.
- as a designer I understand the responsibility for the recycling and reclamation of my product

Design an innovative eco chair by using simple, using minimal amount of energy and minimal material waste. Reduced manufacturing processes since the bamboo poles grow naturally
Why Bamboo?
It is the world’s most sustainable resource.
Bamboo furniture is light, durable, affordable and environmental friendly.
Bamboo is the fastest growing plant in the world, capable of growing 3 to 4 feet per day, reaching maturity quickly and is ready for harvesting in about 4 years. Bamboo does not require replanting after harvesting because its vast root network continually sprouts new shoot and it does this without the need for petroleum-guzzling tractors and poisonous pesticides and fertilizers. Bamboo utilizes carbon dioxide at a rate astronomically higher than other trees, and does it year around because it is an evergreen. A bamboo stand generates more oxygen than an equivalent stand of trees. Strong as steel, flexible and striking beautiful in both its natural and finished state. Typical bamboo has a tensile strength of 28,000 per square inch vs. 23,000 for steel. That makes it one of the strongest materials in the world when it comes to tension structure. Bamboo is twice as stable as oak, and harder than walnut and teak.
