I've always been fan of the scultpural typographic piece - Gastrotypographicassemblge by Lou Dorfsman and Herb Lubalin. All of the typographic compositions contained within the 33 ft long sculpture are still to this day a massive inspiration for me. For this piece I used the tye arrangement for the Eat Drink and Be Merry portion of the wall and reworked the character forms while maintaining the original compostion as an homage to it's creator... I'm working on some alternate executions also. Pleas stay tuned.
