College based project that involved designing a matchbook to raise awareness for one of the articles in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
I chose Article 5: No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.
In particular I chose to highlight the problem of violence against women in the home. Everyday, women in Ireland feel trapped in their own home by a partner or loved one. They are 'voiceless' and unable to speak out in fear of the consequences.
