Instead of taking a step ahead in fashion, designer Alexis Marcy decided to take a step back to study vintage techniques and styles. Her inspiration came from vintage silhouettes, style lines, and textiles which where mixed with today’s urban and modern styles. Incorporating concave and convex curves while maintaining structure and durability is a factor that reflects her favorite personal quote from Coco Chanel; “Fashion is architecture. It is a matter of proportions.”
The photoshoot was constructed with the vision to compliment Alexis Marcy’s style. The locations where chosen based on a mixture of today’s architecture and a sense of how vintage life would have been.
