Aika Jeans

The relaunch of this Japanese-Australian denim brand involved creating a completely new look
starting with a new website, rich with colour and imagery.

Hand drawn illustrations based on ancient Japanese woodcuts combine with flash animation to create a contemporary take on an east-west fusion that repositions the brand, adding an element of sophistication, setting it apart from other denim brands on the market. Four ‘panels’ make up the site, a reference to the use of painted screens common in traditional Japanese art.

Woven through the imagery is the story of Aika, highlighting the focus on quality and tradition.
