JayPackCo
Logo Design
An international tea company wants to separate its synthetic materials packaging and geo-textile manufacturing division. They were looking for a logo which communicates “protection” since they manufacture goods that are used to protect other goods.
My first concept was this. I tried to show real products under the word "pack", the arc above represents bag handle. The client liked the idea but they were unsure if it will look the same when we use it on smaller size.

they were kinda right. it was looking great in bigger size but when we will use it in real life it will be too small to see products, so i created another version with smaller "jay" and "co" word but it starts to misleading company name so we dropped the whole idea.

This time i was focusing on "protection" part and nothing else. So i created two hands holding the word "pack".

Again client liked they felt hands kinda cutting the word "pack". So i pushed them further apart so they don't overlap word "pack". Client also wanted to have "agriculture" part in this concept. So i added a tree branch.

They also wanted a variation of the same concept.

The color part was pretty good phase. Once i added natural colors. The hands kinda feel feminine and color instead of supporting the concept were distracting.
So this is what i did. I chose brown plate with dark green. And that was the final logo we all liked it.
