The all important sketch stage.

Tracing my sketch in Illustrator.

Next I fill the vector shapes with color and bring the whole thing into Photoshop.
(This is the "Ugly Stage")

The final illustration is the result of collaging textures and "paint" on top of the vectors and underneath the drawing. This is the really fun stage where it all comes together - (hopefully!)
