Éan Scéal Eile is a bilingual (Irish & English) picture book, featuring Cork City Library's children's mascot Red, and his new friend Pink!
The story was written by Seán O Laoghaire, based on ideas generated in creative workshops with children from local Gaelscoileanna (Irish speaking schools). The story was then illustrated, and the resulting 24-page book designed, by me - Alan B.
The book was launched in Cork City Library in March 2009, as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge.
Included below are a selection of images and spreads from the book, and the promotional poster for the launch.
