I just submitted a poster design to AIGA’s “Get Out the Vote” campaign. Aside from size and format, the only direction was to create a nonpartisan poster that inspires the American public to participate in the electoral process and vote for a presidential candidate in the 2008 election. My first attempt was rejected because they were concerned I was a little too partisan. One of the blurbs stated, “Every vote counts! Remember 2000?” I replaced the second part with, “That means you!” You can download the final version from the AIGA site.
