Theme : Red and White
Title: Adam and Eve
Red and
White is the colors of Indonesian Flag. I'm an Indonesians and I'm
Proud to be Indonesian for the rest of my life. I think the meaning of
red and white is similiar to the Adam and Eve story. Which is, Adam for
the Red and Eve for the White. When Red have the Bravery meaning and
White have the purify meaning.
Like Adam and Eve, The situation
in Indonesia have the similiar conditions for its cultures and peoples.
It reflects the differential situation in Indonesia, but event that we
are from different cultures but we still as one (Bhineka Tunggal Ika).
And our Founding Father have the Bravery concept with Pure objectives
for free our country in the past. But, in other hand, The differential
elements can be like boomerang to us. It fragile with Teror of
separations issue.
Like this words, woman can be the angel of
our life or she can be the Devil to our life (man) I try to translate
this concept in this artworks. With the big idea of, We can be Big as
One or We can fall apart and torn into pieces if we separate.
