Design and brand a British store which will be opening in New York in 2010. The store must bring across the notion that it is quintessentially British.

The concept for my response is to use the date 23rd April, which is St. George's day in England. (For those who don't know he is a patron saint - the main saint of England, although we don't really celebrate him anymore.) I have taken this date for my store name, and have created a campaign around it.

The campaign involves using the date as a countdown to the stores unveiling, which will coincidentally be on the 23/04/0010, as a shock tactic creating wonder amongst New Yorkers. Closer to the reveal date strap-lines and other material will become revealed.
Three seperate poster designs accompanied by flyers, promotional leaflets and handouts, clothing tags, floor identification designs (i.e. floor numbers), double page spread, and ambient advertising are the major bulk of the campaign. Possible additions include viral ad's - stickers, urban wallpapers etc.
