Fields: Music Production
I started out in music production during my senior year in high school back in 2006. One of my friends during that time period, Emmanuel, always had his laptop with him. On Emmanuel's laptop was a music software program called "Fruity Loops". Everyday during lunch, Manny (his nickname) would let my friends and his friends listen to his beats that he had made. Some of them were good, others average. I started to get the feeling that I too could make beats, so one day I asked if he could burn the program to a disc so I could put it onto a computer. After getting the disc from him, I proceeded to put FL (it was version 3 at the time) onto my grandmother's computer. Over the summer of 2006, I made 15 beats. Fruity Loops is a very simple program to use, and I suggest it to persons wanting to get into music production. With the right MIDI equipment, you can further expand the abilites that are within Fruity Loops. These beats that I have up are my very first attempt in Music Production. They are not very long, each one is less than one minute long (except for a few of them). These are "basic beats". What I mean by that is that I was just getting the feel of how to use the program and the beats reflect that. I hope you enjoy them for what they are and not what they could have been.
