D&AD Student Awards 2008 - The Royal Opera House

These are two posters that i designed to encourage the general public to discover opera and ballet at the Royal Opera House in London. My posters focus on the idea that many people that i spoke to think that the opera and ballet are mainly for rich, posh people; of which they're not.

Final Major Project - Milk

For my final major project at uni I designed a book about milk. It contains facts about the white stuff as well as handy things to make from your old milk cartons. The aim of my research and book was to help people understand milk beyond the many myths that surrounds it, such as high in fat and bacteria ridden. I wanted to design it in a way that although it being a factual source that it had a fun side to it.

Postage Stamps - RSA Design Directions 07/08

My response to a postage stamps brief set in the RSA design Directions 07/08 awards. The brief was to encourage young adults (the future stamp users and collectors) to engage with stamps. My take was music based as young adults were part of the MTV generation (80's). The stamps were also printed on flourescent paper to emphasize the day-glo phenomena that was part of most 80's born people.
