Hi! My name is Elisabeth Kvernen, and I am a graphic designer based in Washington, DC. I founded Silk Road Studio (a small design studio specializing in web, print and video communications) in 2011.

I thrive on communicating ideas cross-culturally. I've lived in Ethiopia, Nepal, India and Syria and have spent time in the Netherlands, Thailand, Lebanon and Turkey. These international experiences continue to shape my perspective and approach to design. Read Less
