Elin Jonsson is a talented illustrator and painter with the unique experience of directing and producing a comprehensive graphics package for Peace & Love, the biggest music festival in Sweden.

Peace & Love, first hired Elin for her unique style of illustration that was a good match for the festival’s unusual mix of humanitarian values and romantic whimsy. The festival lasts up to seven days, manages up to 50,000 visitors and explores a new theme each year. In 2009 Elin became responsible for creating and producing all art and graphics that would tell the story of the festivals next theme. Over four years Elin explored the themes of Passion, Freedom, Courage and Change. Elin illustrated, designed and produced posters, CD and DVD covers, television commercials and print advertising that was distributed across the country.

Now Elin works from Vancouver, Canada as an artist and painter at the game company Deadbug Games. She draws inspiration from her childhood in Sweden and a romantic and whimsical vision of french culture and dark fairytales. She loves vintage french markets, traveling circuses, Cute & Creepy, Macabre Haute couture and Nordic folktales. Elin is passionate about painting, create fine art for games, and creating traditional picture books.
