'India' Photographic Series

I was recently sent on assignment for Lifelounge in India. Between the noise, the smells, the colour and the people - so, so many people - India invades your senses in a relentless information overload. It’s a beautiful, joyous place, but also a place of extreme poverty and harshness. Amazing - yes, but exhausting. Especially when you’re trying to film a seven part documentary series spanning over five cities, including remote Himalayan towns and bustling metropolises, in just over ten days.

But it is a beautiful place, one of the most colourful and lively destinations I have ever visited, and a graphic designer’s utopia. The place is literally covered with some of the most amazing weathered hand painted sign writing I have ever seen. It’s everywhere, and it’s all incredible. Definitely worth the journey for that alone.

adidas Bounce The Block

Bounce The Block. This campaign for adidas Megabounce profiled real people and cultures that share the sneaker's claim of being both high in performance and highly fashionable. The two cultures we rallied to represent this rare balance of athlectics and aesthetics were Krump and American Handball - showcasing real Melbourne krumpers and street handballers in each shoot, not simply models.

adidas x Goodyear

For the past few years, Adidas and Goodyear have been producing a range of kicks that incorporate the unique Goodyear tyre tread into the sneakers' soles. The brief to communicate the collaboration between these two brands was entrusted to us, and these images are the result. Burnouts with your feet. Good times.

Collingwood Photographic Series

An intimate photographic series that profiled residents of the famous (and sometimes infamous) Melbourne suburb of Collingwood. This series was originally intended for use by a global denim brand, but instead remains an unused and untainted look into the lives of some of Melbourne's most extraordinary inhabitants.

All Day I Dream About Sneakers - Story Book

This campaign for adidas Originals was also published as a limited edition book. The book unified the collection by not only showcasing our original sneakers, but also by incorporating them into the life story of an avant-garde adidas sneaker designer named Fritz Träumer - himself an original creation of the campaign. Both the written story and book design have been highly regarded and awarded. For a closer read, you can download a pdf of the book here.

All Day I Dream About Sneakers

All Day I Dream About Sneakers was a global branding project created for adidas Originals, inspired by their brand creeds, ‘Impossible Is Nothing’ and ‘Celebrate Originality’. The project brought to life the world's most original range of sneakers, which we concieved, designed and directed into sculpted models. The full campaign extended into in-store posters, visual merchandising displays and a limited edition book.
