Diego Stocco Bio
Diego creates dynamic and innovative music experiences. His music extensively uses unique sounds created specifically for each project through custom built instruments and techniques, allowing him to produce eclectic compositions with sounds never heard before. For Diego any minimal and hidden noise contains the potential of an expressive sound.

As a Producer for Spectrasonics, he's one of the principal sound designers for the multi Award winning virtual instruments Atmosphere™, Stylus™ RMX and the new Power Synth Omnisphere®. For this epic project, he built several custom instruments and created musically playable sounds out of ordinary objects like light bulbs, a clothes drying rack, a typewriter. Some of his sound design creations are "The Burning Piano", "Luminosonic", "The Drying Rack", "Typosonic Machine", "Streamsonic" and many other innovative and imaginative sound design experiments. He also has sound design and synth programming credits with Korg and Ketron.

Diego published for Epic Score two highly succesfull CDs for film, tv and video games promos, "Epic Textures Volume 1" and "Epic Textures Volume 2", which have been licensed over 500 times for several marketing campaigns, including film trailers like "Terminator : Salvation", "2012", "Eagle Eye", "The Uninvited", "Jumper", "Transformers", "Resident Evil: Extinction", "Awake", "Skinwalker" and "Lady in the Water", videogame trailers like "Justice League Heroes", "Soulcalibur IV", "MK vs DC, "Call of Duty, World at War", and many other TV and internet promos.
"Epic Textures Volume 3" has just been released.

Diego worked as music sound designer with Composer Paul Haslinger on films "Into the Blue", "Crank", "Takers (2010), and videogame "Far Cry Instincts", and with Emmy® Award winning Composer Trevor Morris for Showtimes' "The Tudors" and CBS' "Moonlight".

Before moving to Los Angeles, Diego worked in Italy on several live events, including shows with dance company "Kataklò" and Coreographer Daniel Ezralow (How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Across the Universe). For years he created the sound identity for 3 national radios, Radio Montecarlo, Radio 105 and RDS.

Other credits include music sound design for Nokia, Samsung, Panasonic, BMW, General Motors.

Diego recently created the score for High Voltage Software’s “The Conduit". He's now working on new releases with Epic Score as well as films and audio branding projects.
