the slow sleep

Custom type created in 2007 for personal use on various projects. I wanted to create a typeface which combined the boldness of the retro fonts that were recently making a comeback, but wanted to steer away from the sharp right angles, drawing inspiration from rounded retro fonts like frankfurter. I chose to name it "the slow sleep" because it reminded me of big dialated pupils and being in bed all day long.
