Light and Dark - Thoughts and Feelings:
My personal work falls in to two areas, the Light work and the Dark work. This tends to determine the overall feelings that the work evokes. Playing with light is something that really appeals to me. Blending the lines between studio and location, real from fake, right from wrong and light from dark. Bringing single focus to complicated images, drawing people in and provoking thoughts.
I like using my personal work to push my own limits to test ideas and create showcase artwork. In the coming years I plan to create my own published set of books to so the many ways to play with natural light combined with flash and other lighting forms. Mixing Photography and Digital Art to create showcase work and statement artwork,
Exploring new methods of editing, keeping up to date with current trends and styles and refining my own style. I am a big fan user of Photoshop and Lightroom. My personal work tends to take a longer digital path and commonly ends up as digital art rather than traditional photography. This is becoming something of a digital style and unique point of my work.
As every shoot goes past I am always tying to work with bigger publications in order to increase exposure. I am far away obsessed with brands or designers, but coming from a much more Art based direction.
