Studied Fine Art at the Waiariki Polytechinic in Rotorua New Zealand, a strong Maori Cultural Base to these studies, majoring in sculpture.
As a fine artist I have hosted 7 major solo exhibitions and been part of numerous group shows. My work is hung in private collections from New Zealand to Australia, USA, UK, South Africa, France, Portugal, Brazil, Argentina and Japan.

I spent around ten years of my life competing at an international level as Professional Longboard Surfer, placing as high as 9th in the world. Through my surfing contacts I have designed logos, brands, textile and products primarily for the companies inside the surf lifestyle industry for close to 20 years.
I retired from all contest surfing in 2008 after a 9th placing at the World Surfing Games, along with the '08 New Zealand Pro Longboard Tour Title.

Despite having worked for many years as a graphic designer, I made the decission to formalise my talents, and so I commenced studies at the Bay of Plenty Polytechinic in an effort to gain a degree in Graphic Design, with the intention of going to do a masters in Graphic Design.
