Reginald's Tower - The Story of Waterford.
Reginald’s Tower is a circular defence tower, set in Waterford City’s historic Viking Triangle. It was built at the beginning of the 13th century. At various stages in its rich history, Reginald’s Tower has been used as a mint, prison and military store.
This was another large historical project which i had to Art Direct and Composite.
My role also include the creation of maps and Hi resolution 2d textures of the medieval Ireland and also the creation of a time line based on the history or the tower and its role in Waterford,s colorfull history.
This is the final frame of the Intro Sequence which i created using the pre built assets from the Project.
These are a selection of some of the 25 or so shots i composited and graded for this project.I created a misty pale blue look for the outdoor shots to try a warmer look for the indoor shots.
There were a number of shots that needed explosions and cannon fire as well an debris and dirt tracked into them.
