mPerpetuo is a camera startup focused on creating a connected photography experience. As lead Industrial Designer I am tasked with creating a camera that fits into consumers’ lives as seamlessly as a smartphone.

Derive Systems makes consumer electronic devices for the automotive industry. Tasked with creating a new line of engine tuners for this industry leader, my role included ID, UI, packaging, and creative direction.

Studio RED is a 31 year old product development firm in the heart of Silicone Valley. As a freelance contractor I collaborated directly with the design lead and founder to deliver projects on tight time lines, develop CAD models, create photo-realistic presentation renderings, and bring concepts from idea to fruition.

Designed alongside some of San Francisco’s premiere ID talent, creating product for start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, on projects ranging from consumer electronics to appliances to wearables.

Uneka Concepts is a fusion of product development and packaging. My roll at Uneka was to work alongside the director of design, developing new concepts from sketch to 3D to present to clients.

Deap Design is a small industrial design firm with a focus on kitchen and bath products. In collaboration with the principles of the firm, I executed concept ideation for a variety of Kohler products, and created Solidworks models for prototyping and presentations.

As a lead designer on a dozen products that have gone to market, I collaborated with 7 fellow industrial design teammates developing tools for Martha Stewart Crafts, Perler Beads, Inkadinkado, and EK Tools. An integral part of the design team, my contributions included design research, concept development, rapid-prototyping, facilitating meetings with our licenses and brand managers, and communicating directly with engineers and manufacturers in Asia.

Worked closely with lead designers, engineers, and model-makers on a variety of projects. Responsibilities included participation in brainstorming sketch sessions, developing research boards for project development discussions, building foam sketch models, rendering final concepts for client presentations, and meeting deadlines under tight time frames.

Collaborated with designers, engineers and marketing staff, producing a diverse range of projects aimed at meeting the needs of consumers with limited mobility and dexterity. Participated in in-depth research, new product brainstorming and development, mechanical problem solving, model-making & prototyping.
