Round 1 of the Chrysler Style Shifters Competition has come to a close and submissions are now being reviewed for eligibility and content per the official rules. Click here to view the official Style Shifters contest rules.

America was built on the simple premise that opportunity is fueled by inspiration. Chrysler has proved this premise once again by teaming up with world-renowned fashion designer John Varvatos to develop the 2013 Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Limited Edition.

To celebrate this new vehicle, Chrysler and John Varvatos are challenging all designers to create a mind-blowing original 2013 Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Limited Edition–inspired design. The winner will fly to Los Angeles to attend the 10th Annual Stuart House Benefit and have a meet and greet with John Varvatos himself.

Submit any project from your portfolio that best demonstrates your talent.

Open to all legal residents of the 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry and a member of Behance.net

Only one entry per user is permitted. Entries do not necessarily have to be fashion-focused.

Round 1 will be judged by experienced members of Behance’s design staff. Round 2 will be judged by experienced members of Behance’s design staff, representative(s) from John Varvatos®, and representative(s) from Chrysler.

Round 1 – Top 50
The top 50 finalists will each receive a brief to help them create a 2013 Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Limited Edition–inspired, original design as well as a stipend of $1,000 once their submission is received.

Finalists will also receive information and pictures of the 2013 Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Limited Edition, as well as background information on the Chrysler and Varvatos brands, and images of Imported from Detroit™ shirts, hats and bags to help them with their inspiration.

Designs will be uploaded, displayed and discussed on the contest page, and select designs and finalists will be shared on Chrysler’s Facebook page and Forward Look blog.

From the 50 finalists, the judging panel will choose a grand prize winner and two runners-up, ensuring all winners reflect the styling of the 2013 Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Limited Edition.

Round 2 – Grand Prize Winner and Runners-Up
One grand prize winner will receive $5,000 and have an opportunity to show his/her design to John Varvatos in person, as they will fly to Los Angeles for the 10th Annual Stuart House Benefit.

If applicable, the winning design may be sold in the Imported from Detroit™ store.

Two runners-up will win $3,500 cash prizes.
