Marz Designs

Sydney, Australia
I'm currently working for ‘KD Furniture’, which is Australia's leading volume manufacturer of customised joinery and furniture solutions. I have four years worth of experience in the industry and I’m a passionate designer, eager to gain a broad perspective of design and move my career forward.

In my current position at KD my remit is broad, including the development of market leading furniture designs from concept through to production, market research, product estimating and detailed product costings, assembly instructions for flat pack furniture, shop drawings for commercial hotel fit outs, exhibition layouts and additional graphic design support for the 'sales and marketing team'. In addition to this however, I enjoy tinkering away at my own design work and was recently selected as a finalist in the latest Launchpad awards for my ‘Thread’ Light design.

I’m excellent at generating ideas, producing nice 2D and 3D forms, C.A.D models and technical drawings using Solidworks. I can create high quality renderings using Keyshot and can use to an advanced level programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign to generate concepts, present them, paint and re-touch.

With great communication skills, ability to work under pressure, conceptual and creative thinking, design knowledge, reliability, and my own personal high expectations I'm sure I would make a positive contribution to any company.
