I am currently a fifth year thesis student at the University of Notre Dame.  I have studied Classical and tradtional architecture and urban planning with a concentration in historic preservation. I am looking for a full time position with an architecural firm committed to the design of beautiful and humane places. My skills include hand drafting and watercolor rendering, freehand drawing and watercolor, Photoshop, Sketchup, 2D and 3D AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architecture, and a familiarity with Indesign. Read Less

I spent my fourth year working on a research project started in a class for my historic preservation concentration and continuing with my studio class second semester.  My class of 8 students, working under our professor, spent a week in Mumbai, India in January thoroughly documenting various historic districts of the city.  We worked in pairs photographing and assessing each building's architectural character, typology, material, condition and socio-economic class.  We spent second semester working on processing our research and creating a study of various typologies.  We have created a recommendation for future development in the historic districts of the city and compiled a publication of our findings.  Our research will be used by the Prince's Foundation for the Built Environment. I worked for the firm Arcas Paris during the summer of 2012 as an intern working mainly on presentation drawings for schematic designs.

For my first semester fifth year studio, I worked with a client that is developing a large piece of land on the ocean in Ecuador. As a studio we designed the urban plan for the first phase of the development and individually designed houses for the neighborhood. As a part of a seminar class, I helped to create a set of architectural guidelines which were used for a professional design charrette in January. Read Less
