We are Autobahn - Jeroen Breen, Maarten Dullemeijer and Rob Stolte, graduated from Utrecht School of the Arts (HKU). Autobahn designs special graphical projects, often with an illustrative and typographical angle. Autobahn is characterized by an analytical approach in the beginning and a strong sense of form at the end of the process, combined with passion and ambition. Autobahn, Utrecht and Typography: It is no coincidence that a typographic driven agency like Autobahn is located in Utrecht. Utrecht and typography are linked since the 9th century. The oldest Dutch scriptorium was located in Utrecht and the typographic craftsmanship was well known beyond the Dutch borders. Projects that we love: • projects in which typography plays an important role • memorable and monumental projects (large, in the spotlight, for eternity) • projects for ambitious and opinionated customers. Characteristics of a good design: • striking (Autobahn designs are not serving but reaffirming) • bright and clear (design tells a story) • forms are derived from the content • hand-written, unique and authentic (Autobahn's designs are not anonymous) • form choices are never at the expense of readability and communication How we do business: Autobahn is an agency that is always on the move and exploring the boundaries of our profession.
