This is my First Topic im posting, only just joined and ive always wondered what other illustrators rules are, my are pritty basic always use action lines, and guide lines before you attempt drawing Limbs facial features ect, i do have my own little ones that are more of a habbit then anything else e.g. ill alway start with the body and work outwards then down and finish on the face.

What are you rules before you start your piece? and why do you do them?
