The HUMAN EMOTION PROJECT is an ongoing video project, managed by South African artist Alison Williams. All contributions are searching human emotions.
Curator John Benneth has chosen my video MILKY WAY.
MILKY WAY is about yearning as a basic element of human relationship. A man is driving through the dark streets of a city having in his mind the woman, he is missing. So all things that remind him about her, get a close up in his perception, e.g. advertising walls showing women, who look similar to her, a woman standing at a traffic light, he is passing by. No actor appears in front of the camera. Only walls and streets are shown, through which a car is driving slowly. By this romantic approach the yearning is expressed.
