EXQUISITE CORPSE VIDEO PROJECT Vol. 2 has two screenings this month. The first screening will be at CONTATO - Festival Multimedia de Radio, TV, Cinema e Arte Eketronica, taking place in Sao Carlos (Brazil), 10th - 11th october 2009. The second is at MAGACIN, Belgrad (Serbia), 8th october 2009.
EXQUISITE VIDEO PROJECT Vol. 2 is a global video project, managed and directed by Brazilian artist Kika Nicolela.
Inspired by the Surrealist invention, the EXQUISITE CORPSE, a method of sequential, collaborative image production, video shorts were composed over a period of two weeks by 14 artists from 9 countries. Each artist has to choose at least two themes and will have to use the last 10 or 20 seconds of the material of the artist who worked about the same thread before him.
