Sisu, Inc. is an award-winning multidisciplinary design studio located in Los Angeles. We are looking for a full-time JR. Designer.
Sisu is a friendly, tight knit group of talented individuals. For over 6 years, we’ve found success by delivering intelligent, engaging design and technology solutions for the web, mobile and print. Our clients span many industries including entertainment, media and emerging technologies. Our diverse client roster includes Sony, ABC, Warner Bros. Records, MySpace, Hearst and more.
We are looking for a junior designer who is passionate about design, diligent, detail-oriented, and trustworthy. Our work is primarily for the web so our preference is for recent grads with course work internships involving web development and other digital media. That being said, we do a fair amount of print work, including brand identity and marketing communications, so an interest and skills with traditional media is a big plus.
While we are looking for independent thinkers and innovators, team members should be able to follow creative and art direction well. This will be an exceptional learning experience: you will be working with a small team and get the opportunity to not only gain expertise in producing best-of-breed design solutions for a great set of clients, but to see how a successful design studio operates.
Desired Skills:
• Ability to develop innovative design solutions using strong typographic and layout skills
• Formal training in graphic design or previous experience working as a desinger
• Solid knowledge of common graphics software including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects, Flash, etc…
• Prior web design experience
• A solid understanding of User Experience/Information Architecture
• Familiarity with production for both print and web
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to articulate and present visual concepts
