This is a strange request but I'm looking for a creative professional living in Amsterdam to swap apartments with me for a 6 week period (roughly Sept. 24 to Nov. 5). I live in Austin, Texas and work at a small design firm here.
Ideally, the person I'm looking for lives in central Amsterdam and works in the creative industry. For 6 weeks we would swap apartments and office spaces but keep working for our separate companies long-distance.
My design firm has agreed to let me go to Amsterdam and they will host the person I swap with. My firm will be ready with office space, internet access, printers, and whatever else my "swapper" might need to work long-distance for their employer.
As for my apartment, it would be all yours. It's just a quick bike ride to downtown Austin (which is an awesome city). It's a two-story garage apartment with an art studio downstairs – very gezellig. The garage apartment is 1 block away from vintage clothing stores, restaurants, major bus routes and more. Here's a quick video of the upstairs:
