haha im on the same boat it its damn near impossible but I too have been doing alot of research on trying to figure out a way to head out there sometimes i think i wanna just save up and just take my chances life is so short so why not? but i have been taking and practicing japanese which is fun and im planning a sabbatical out there this february and just try my luck to try and find work but i'll keep you posted if i come across any leads on studios, might be a dumb question but have you tried googling design studios? another thing i noticed is that unless a company really wants you its impossible to get work out there b/c in order to live there you must be sponsored by a company for employment if not than us foreigners are only allowed to stay out there for 3 months max which is lame! the only way i figured is teach english out there and freelance on the side while your out there teaching english .

Living and Working in Japan is something I long to do, but I'm finding it difficult finding design studios and agencies, most likely because I dont fully understand the language completely yet. If anyone knows of any I'd love to know :) thanks
