you are right....I am igree, maybe the best is leave the apreciations, and stay only the comments, also I believe can to be great one list or place where behace put the most featured people ...it can help to the reputation of it person and Behance win prestigious.

I think that this problem is more complex, and not only linked with the appreciations system. Currently you are not obliged to be registered on behance to vote/appreciate a project (every person that visit this website can do it - even the author of the project !!!!). That can explain the big number of appreciations and the small number of comments!

In my personal opinion I think that the appreciation system, at least in this form, is completely unnecessary. I think that comments are more effective and I update my portfolio completely for the comments because I like to hear from my visitors about what they like & what they don’t like ...

Finally, we must determine our target --- and decide if we are looking for comments and appreciations from all visitors or just from the community members!
