Sometimes I discover things of more or less well-known Designers, which make me jump around in anger and despair. Because they intend to be some functional things but turn out to be scoffing about their own functions - in the worst way.

I agree, that there is a fashion coming up for getting away from function and form follows emotion. But I definately have the feeling that this is the wrong way and it will end bad for us all.
When the first Designer creates a toilet with a hole too small to shit through it (because of sooo emotional form) then the world will finally start to stink...

the trend is changing i think and its having a new direction..... that is form follows emotions......

An interesting little article by Alice Rawsthorn, makes me wish British newspapers published more about ID.
