It seems like it would be a great place to showcase progress and pick up more support, if we can get something tangible done by then, even if its a steady concept and an under construction page, we will be on our way. we've got a lot to do! first off, we need a home, please read the "we need a home" topic

Well, look at this as the equivalent of a food drive. The difference is that instead of food, we are starving for that artistic culture and inspiration we thrive on. You can donate something as simple as putting a logo that links to our project on the bottom to your own projects, or you could aid in coding the site in the end. Its really up to you, and every last bit counts. Regardless if you tell one person or a thousand people about this project, its a step. I think there is a famous quote from Confucious that goes "It doesn't matter how slow you go, as long as you don't stop". In our example, it doesn't matter the size or impact of the contribution, but as long as its consistent and we don't quit. Thanks for the the response and support Rayna. What are you getting at with the "Rothbury Festival"?

I guess it is unfair to ask for feedback without anything truly explained. As Artists/designers or what ever genre of creative we are, we had that moment when we did it because we loved it. Hell, we did it for ourselves. Remember those personal projects? well, imagine if we did that again, except less personal (and yet even more in some ways). as far as social networks go, we have our giants. Them, obviously being Facebook and Behance. Now, even though they are amazing in their own right, they are not without flaw. Behance, does its job in representing you as the professional you are. Facebook, connects you with friends and such. They are both very cluttered. What if we could create an environment to meet new artists, form new friendships, and inspire each other to create new work. Idea's could include a music player based on submissions from artists, or a screen saver that feeds from the site itself. Idea's are only limited by effort. what do you think?

As artists, we have forgotten why we did chose this path. We get Caught in the shallow struggle of getting paid, and only work for an incentive. We have lost our way. Behance, is a social networking site representing our professional selves, but even though our creative fields define us, they are not our only characteristic. Muse is a project to revive the true artists we represent, in a community driven project to build a more laid back social network. If you can contribute anything at all, please do. its for you, and your community. From an idea, to a logo, to a web design, to an audio masterpiece, donate. reclaim the title of artist, and remember why you did it in the first place.

so, any ideas?
lets Inspire.
