As an idea person first and foremost, I have been constantly frustrated by companies and clients who have had CMS (content management system) preached as the be-all end-all of website importance. I am a firm believer that a website should be driven by design and content needs, as opposed to the technology. However, my "create a badass site design and functionality then find the right technology to make it function" seems to be at odds with the majority of the so called web companies out there. There is a reason web programming is talked about in terms "back end". How do we get clients to stop putting the cart before the horse? Any ideas?
