Circles

My name is Renata and I am a Master student of Kunsthøgskolen in Oslo. For the last year I've been working in the concept of a new magazine about alternative traveling, that uses design as a form of interaction with the locations, people and culture of one specific travel destination. This magazine, called Tempo, will feature Oslo and São Paulo in its firsts editions.

This email is a call for collaborations from artists, illustrators, writers, photographers and interesting (and interested) people. Listed bellow is what I need collaboration at, and if you feel that urge to contribute (even with something which is not in the list) and be showcased in a new, innovative and beautiful magazine, please mail me at tempo@renatabarros.net.

1. Artists / illustrators / others to draw their personal maps of the cities - maps that tell stories, experiences, personal views
2. Photographers to discuss ideas for visual essays on the touristic spots of the city. Some of them: 1:1 photography, color mapping of touristic attractions, photos of tourists (instead of the touristic), photo shooting Oslo in London, etc
3. Writers and journalists to write an "unguide" of Oslo and São Paulo.
4. Artists / illustrators / others to illustrate articles at the magazine.

And everyone with something to say to be included in the "Help! Board", and that I can recur to, in case i need to ask for opinions, indications of places, people, suggestions, etc.

Not sure? Keep up with the good work at www.renatabarros.net/tempomag and see if you can resist.
This is an ongoing project and the result can only get better with your collaboration.
And please, spread the joy: send this email to everyone you know that would like to participate.
Thank you!
