Circles
Pinocchi is a project promoted by Ludiko Kidult Lab with the aim to apply contemporary creativity in the field of the artisan tradition.
The project will be focused on a tipical Italian souvenir made in Valle Strona: the Pinocchio, the main character of the famous italian children book
Each Author is invited to create his own Pinocchio from the perspective of character culture.
3 categories are open:
a. GRAPHIC ARTWORKS : illustrations or graphics designs to be printed
b. TEMPORARY OBJECTS: sculptures or 3D models to be installed
c. PERMANENT SOUVENIRS: wooden objects to be produced in series
each opera must have attached a little lie to be read, to told, to seen, to be found..
TIMING
Enrolment by sending CV, portfolio and the choosen category to info@ludiko.it
- up to 30 april 2009 - sending images of the opera or final project (though it is not a deadline)
the 1st Pinocchi exhibition is scheduled the 10th of October 2009 in occasion of the great opening of the LUDIKO VILLAGE - residence-gallery and lab. The public of the exhibition will select the best permament souvenir. the Winner’s artwork will be produced in 500 pcs by the Valle Strona artisans.
