Circles
This circle is supposed to be for artists who primarily work from a conceptuel basis. The medium and the formalistic aspects are of a lesser priority then the concept, philosophy, narrative, meaning of the artwork. In short, the physical is a carrier for the ''abstract layers''.
This does not necessarily mean that an ''amaturistic'' or ''weak" technical approach or skill is a non-issue when creating conceptual art. The quality of a conceptual artwork depend on a range of criteria, and quality or aesthetics differ from the eye of the beholder, but it can be said that the formalistic elements should be chosen carefully to strengthen the quality of the concept, unnecessary visual effects should be avoided.
