Artists Against Corruption is on ongoing, international, multi-arts project designed to raise awareness of the fact that, "corruption is the greatest obstacle to reducing poverty" (The World Bank).
The project already has the support of Transparency International - the global coalition against corruption (with approx 100 representative officed worldwide). In support they said......
“As leader of a global coalition in the fight against corruption, Transparency International supports the initiative of Artists Against Corruption. In expressing the link between corruption and poverty through music, theatre, dance, art, photograph, and other art forms, the campaign will make people aware that corruption is one of the biggest obstacles to reducing poverty. This initiative helps advance our mission to create change towards a world free of corruption."
Through this circle I hope to attract photographers and other artists interested the possible creation of virtual and real exhibitions on the theme. I plan to also publish a book of images in support of the project as a whole and the exhibition.
