Christopher Ian MacClements

Candidate Architect

Cape Town, South Africa
Architecture | Urban Design | Multidisciplinary Design | Graphic design | Fine Art | Illustration | Graffiti

I am a classically trained and practicing architect who, having completed my studies at the University of Pretoria, spends my days working full-time as an architect and nights pursuing my other creative interests. Outside of architecture, I practice as a multidisciplinary and self-taught artist, graffiti artist, illustrator and creative.

My daily pursuits in architecture, graffiti and the arts have culminated in a multifaceted design approach that draws inspiration from all of my respective fields of interest. Each discipline is seen as a string to my bow – each one is therefore as equally instrumental in hitting the mark and finding my voice as a creative and designer.

I am drawn to collaborative, holistic, and rigorous creatives who are not only pushing themselves but pushing their desired field of creative exploration. And, it is just that – creative exploration and collaboration that inspires my creative journey. Categorically I am seen as a creative and architect but I am someone who is open to all fields of creative engagement.

I am teachable, disciplined, hard-working and ready to learn.
