I am a multimedia artist who focuses on graphic design, drawing, and illustration.
I work with a variety of digital and traditional materials, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, graphite, ink pen, color pencil, and watercolor. I utilize these tools as part of my work because of the quality they impart and the expertise I've developed. To create exceptional work I need to use the very best tools and be comfortable with my level of expertise with them.
I enjoy giving design a warmer, more personal feel with the use of fine art tools when applicable. Simple compositions, minimalism, and a sense of playfulness are elements I use frequently when designing. I use these elements when creating design because I feel that design should always be simple, to the point, and clever.
When it comes to my illustrative and drawing work; clean, whimsical, intricate, organic, and delicate renderings of my subject matter within simple compositions contribute to my visual identity. I create fine art because I enjoy the methodical process of creating pieces saturated with detail as well as the look of organic, delicate lines.
