My passion for graphic design was put on hold for the majority of my life. Up until my college graduation in 2005, I focused soley on an athletic career. At two different universities, I accomplished four successful years of competing as a collegiate swimmer and maintaining my studies. Not until the summer of 2007, did my heart finally know it was ready and passionate about a design future. With only myself to push me, I began my quest and haven’t looked back since. It was a long journey, but each day has brought me more confidence and motivation to achieve my goals. Lots of challenges. Luckily, I embrace all obstacles and will go the extra mile to get the job done. My journey with my portfolio website pretty much sums me up. I wanted to be the only person in my class to develop a site in Flash. It didn't seem too difficult. Five sleepless weeks later, I can tell you otherwise. The software tested my patience countless times, and brought out some of the nastiest words I didn't know were in my vocabulary. Somehow though, Flash has me intrigued. It seems now the entire interactive side of design has me wrapped around its finger. For now, I am happy with a job that has anything to do with design and that offers a great set of mentors to learn from. I realize the road ahead presents some incredible challenges, and I could not be more excited. Read Less
