A Portuguese girl in Paris.
And everything starts with an idea. That scratchy feeling that a person have living inside her head, day and night. With me, usually that idea come in words (it might sound strange for someone who works with images), and then, I pick those words and draw them.
Most of the times I start with my black pen in a white paper. Usually I don't use a pencil first 'cause if I have only one shot to do the draw, with no chance to erase and do it again, it keeps me more concentrated and faithful to the idea, that comes trough my hand. First handed. I also have a moleskine, but I tend to run away from it to a A3 paper, with no size or format restrictions.

I first discovered that I enjoyed arts when I had 15/16 years. I loved the free drawing classes, but hated the geometry ones. Free was the word. Then I kind of disconnect of this passion until I had 22 years old. Then I start to discover that I liked to play with images in my computer, distort, erase, multiply, to some pretty stuff. I left all behind (work, salary and car) and went to work at an advertising school to provide my art direction course. And I reached my first goal: to work at an advertising agency. And I love it. Several people helped me to figure out how to make it better, stronger. Now I gave the big step of leaving my country, heading Paris, the city of light, and bright. Let's go, the journey continues.
