I have had a bizarre affection for advertising ever since as a child I would discuss which television spots had the most impact and staying power, often replacing clichéd slogans for my own. This evolved into a love of print media when in school a teacher pointed out that my choice of font for an assignment could be better spaced out for clarity and ease the eye of the reader. Ever since I became a voracious devourer of all things design.

My studies on the matter took me to doing coursework on the foundation software, personal research, book and magazine study and the door to door crusade for unpaid internship at many a publication house. I was fortunate to land a lowly position in the studio of a newspaper. In my first week, four of the five designers on staff vanished, whether due to illness, resignations or otherwise, and a baptism of fire ensued.

Since then I have moved on to designing entire newspapers single-handedly, their respective supplements and most of the in-house ad content. Later I took on the glossies: Lifestyle magazines, Financial publications, Niche periodicals - you name it I've set it. However after seven years of print media I wanted to explore and learn more. I now pursue marketing and advertising campaigns with delight - the science of combining the hard sell through visual and story fascinates me. I have learnt the back-end of the business, the dealing with the most irritable of clients, the handling of a creative and cantankerous creative team and the coordination of various projects all at once without breaking a sweat.

Let's talk.
