David Mason was raised in tiny Mulvane, Kansas, and when not dining on Pasta Carbona at Luciano’s, was influenced by the uncluttered horizon of his home state. His design approach is as crisp as his graphics: clean, simple, and bold, with a respect for his audience and a disdain for pedantry. Initially studying architecture, Dave eventually decided that traditional design professions were too confining, and earned a degree in Digital Art from Kansas State University.
As a Senior Motion Designer at Mood, Dave’s work can be seen in the showrooms of prominent merchants such as Aeropostalé, H&R Block, and UPS. He cites his creation of custom video wall content for a flagship Aeropostalé location as his most challenging project, but also his most rewarding. Dave possesses a strong belief that the future of motion design is ours to decide, and while he’s excited to watch it evolve, promises to do his part to promote a “Less is More” aesthetic. Read Less
