Plastic expression is my natural process to understand what surrounds me and my relationship with it. My formation as a photographer and architect shaped my strong beliefs in the process as the only state of art, where you are dealing with the concept idea beyond the art object.

My creative process, aims for a dialogue between my experience and the piece, resulting in the spectator's perception. My language is based in basic human emotions, looking for experience building blocks that allow me to convey an aspect of the human condition, filtering my personal references and looking for the collective consciousness. We were all born from a women, human nature is a condition that we all share and I believe art should always reflect that.

In my practice I establish an open communication with the work that is coming to life, asking the piece what it wants, guiding me through the emotion that triggered the concept in the first place. This open dialogue allows me to use a wide range of materials and mediums, from photography to document a situation that looks for a specific perception frame, to digital mediums that allow me to generate abstract elements. The materials I use are part of the dialogue process, they are words conforming the message.

I based my work in our relationship with consumerist culture, making an emphasis in innuendos so embedded in our lives that we forget.
I also like to embrace the cultural contradiction of the pop culture. I like to get immersed in the situation, considering the contradictory and the absurd references, to create an information frame-set that allows me to understand how the situation relates with me and therefore with the work.
