As an artist, I am interested in creating a balance between light and dark. Most of my work consists of ink figures inspired from traditional South Asian culture intwined with patterns from nature.

The black ink on paper represents simplicity. My art is not about screaming to the world each emotion, but rather, subtly conveying the curves and shapes associated with nature and the human body. The occasional interjection of color into my work represents a splash of difference in conformity, and it is for this reason I also choose to draw figures of South Asian influence. Read Less
