Ankat Hermanns was born 1987 in Aachen, close to the dutch and belgium border.
She began drawing at an early age and found out later that art would be a lifelong passion.
Since september 2011 she started her MA in Scientific Illustration at the ABKM Maastricht after she got her BA in Illustration in summer 2011.
